- Undergraduate Application Fee: $20
- Graduate Application Fee: $30
Undergraduate applicants must submit the following:
- Official transcripts from high school
- Official transcripts from each institution attended if transferring into SMSU
- Self-reported GPA and/or standardized test scores (ACT or SAT)
Graduate applicants must submit the following:
- Official undergraduate transcripts
- Depending on the graduate program selected, some applicants may be required to submit letters of recommendation, a statement of intent, and more

Transfer credits are accepted through a case-by-case process. Find out if you’re eligible to transfer your hard-earned credits by submitting the following:
- A completed online application
- Official transcripts from all previously attended institutions
